If you find that some part of your cart is not working, here are some steps you can do to fix your problems.

Check Power

  1. If something is not working check to make sure it is plugged into the applied power sources.
  2. Follow the path of the power cord. Check to make sure it is plugged into the power strip on the bottom of the cart.
  3. If it has a power pack that sits between the outlet and the cord make sure it is properly connected to the power pack.
  4. Make sure the power strip is plugged into the power strip on the front of the cart and make sure that is plugged into the wall.

No Picture

For Document Camera/PC

  1. Make sure projector and document camera are powered on.
  2. Toggle between the different settings on the PC using Fn+F8 or F7 depending on model.
  3. If there is no picture on the screen check the connection between the projector and document camera.
  4. The cord connecting to the document camera to the projector should be plugged into either Computer 1 or 2 on the projector and on the camera VGA Out.
  5. The cable that connects to the PC should be connected to the VGA In port on the camera.
  6. If you are using the document camera make sure Camera is chosen as the source on the document camera; PC if you are using the computer.

For VCR/DVD
  1. Make sure VCR/DVD and projector are powered on.
  2. Check Source Search button on projector.
  3. Check connections. Yellow video cable should be connected to Video in on projector and Video out on VCR/DVD.
  4. Check to make sure your videotape or CD/DVD is working properly and is compatible.

No Sound

On PC
  1. Make sure powered speaker is turned on and receiving power.
  2. Check volume on front of powered speaker
  3. Check to make sure mini cable is attached to PC and is plugged into Line In on Powered Speaker
  4. Check audio on computer. Make sure the volume is turned all the way up and not muted.

On VCR/DVD
  1. Make sure powered speaker is turned on and receiving power.
  2. Check volume on front of powered speaker.
  3. Check to make sure red and white audio cables are attached to Audio Out on the back of the VCR/DVD player and plugged into the Line In ports on the back of the speaker.

Image Quality is Poor

  1. Check focus on projector.
  2. Check keystone on projector.
  3. Adjust legs on projector to make image straight and clear.
  4. If using document camera adjust the focus on the image.
